Generally speaking, there is no difference between Hospitality Management & Hotel Management and both are frequently used interchangeably in the academics as well as industry. But technically, Hotel Management is a part of Hospitality Management which comprises of Culture, Tourism and other services sector along with Hotels & Restaurants. So, both the students work in the almost same industry and study almost same subjects.

As per your experience and qualification, I would suggest you to go for MBA as the MCA will not add complete value to your current profile whereas the MBA can help you to grow in the same domain with great career growth.

In MBA, it does not have any direct impact, however, in campus placement, some companies may not consider you for eligibility but these are low cases. As per my view, you directly start preparing for MBA this will not affect your future career as your MBA will be more demanding. Make sure to get very good marks in MBA then.

Hi,
As far as I know, the government MBA colleges have the same procedure as the other colleges. So you need to visit the college website of your interest and confirm the entrance exam. It will be mostly the state CET exam.
