I would love to give you tips for MBA GD-PI.
Before attending a GD-PI, you should be aware and updated about current affairs, international events, issues affecting India and the world, etc. so that you can share your opinion and views if asked. You should watch debates on English News channels like Times Now, NDTV 24X7 to have an idea about how to respond effectively during a GD session.
You need to be patient and a good listener in order to respond effectively to a group discussion. The interview panel includes people from college management but you need not panic. You must have given at least four to five exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNA

Hello,
IBS, Mumbai is a much better option, than IBS-Pune, for pursuing MBA provided one doesn't have any decent alternative(s). So yes, try to keep it only as a backup and aim for much reputed colleges.

Hello, Niharika,
There is no single specialization that guarantees providing a high salary package. Only one's interest, required skills and the brand name of the B-school will decide a person bagging a good package or not. Having said, the top five MBA specializations students generally opt for every year are: Finance, Marketing, HR, Information Technology and International Business. Choose the one as per your career goals. Kindly visit this link for more details:

MCA has better career options than MBA in IT. It depends on your career goals also. MCA is purely a technical field and MBA is purely management course. Although in MBA IT, you would be given technical knowledge also but it will be theoretical. It's purely based on managing the IT infrastructure and IT management. MCA includes software development and testing, etc. which a pure technical course. Both the fields have equal opportunities but MCA is slightly better.
