Placements : The placement of the institute is quite good with an average salary of 1.5 lakh to 3.5 lakhs. Students get placed according to their capabilities, minimum of 60% is required to get placed in a good company. Most students get placed in the banks and internship programs are provided for the students to get an insight into the market.
Infrastructure : Wi-Fi facility, a classroom with modern teaching aids are provided to the students. Medical facilities, games room, common room, an auditorium is available where teachers can organise seminars, workshop and lectures. Many industry experts are invited to the campus as a guest lecturer who shares their ideas, market trends and insight of the industry with the students.
Faculty : The classroom has modern techniques and projectors. The classes are very interactive, the faculty members are qualified and teach the students about the trends of the market.
We get industry exposure and internships are also provided by the college. We get assignments which are based on the case study of the companies.

The average package offered this year was around 9 LPA, the highest being 18 LPA. Students have been offered good job roles like Equity Research, Risk Analysis, Quant Analyst etc. Some of the companies which recruit from IFMR are Credit Suisse, HSBC, Deloitte , HDFC, JP Morgan, Capgemini, Royal Bank of Scotland etc.
The campus is full of buzz and energy throughout the year. IFMR has academic student committees like Finance Club (Arthasabha), HR club (Synergy), Marketing club (Markaholic), Operations (Sanchalan) and other non-academic committees like External Relations, Placement Committee, Food and Hostel Committee, Laasya (Cultural Club) and so on. Apart from committees, IFMR also has music, dance, theater and photography clubs. All club and committees are student-run. A number of events and competitions are held in the campus. The Cultural club organizes festivals and DJ nights for the students. Apart from that, movies are also screened every week. The campus itself is a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay at.
