The cohort at IIMs and NUS is very different in terms of diversity and experience. IIMs have almost half of their cohorts fresh out of college whereas NUS has most of the participants who have reasonable work experience. Singapore being a finance hub attracts an extraordinary exposure in term of learning which IIMs and most top B-Schools in India cannot. Also, the median CTC that is offered at NUS is way higher than that at IIMs. If we see the course fee, the MBA from NUS costs around 40-50L INR whereas the fee for the full-time MBA from IIM A, B and C costs between Rs 17 to Rs 22 lakhs. The student pedigree at IIMs A/B/C and NUS is eq

There is no such difference when it comes to job opportunities offered to an MBA graduate or a PGDM graduate. They both get equal opportunities to sit in the placement drive. It has also been found that both MBA and PGDM students are treated equally by top recruiters. The basic reason behind why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is on account of when an institute is a self-governing body (which means it is not affiliated with any university) then such institutes can't offer MBA degree. When an institute secures independence, they plan their own educational modules to be instructed as opposed to taking after obsolete university syl

If I had to go with this, I would say that completing your degree first is a better option why because once you start doing job studies hardly matters to you because you have already started working and people doing MBA want to get a good placement which you already have so, what will be the need for you to get back to studies? Once, you get a job, you gain experience which matters if a company wants to hire you then there's no point of returning back just to get a degree.
Hence, for me, it's important to complete degree first then move to corporate sector because it filters your interest and gets you better opportunities to work. The

Savitribai Phule Pune University, (Department of management sciences, PUMBA) can be one of the colleges where you can pursue your MBA. Being a government college, it has less fee structure as compared to other colleges. You will have to take an entrance exam and score really well so that you would also get a hostel room which would be helpful for you as getting an accommodation elsewhere would be very costly. You can also apply for a scholarship which would further help you financially. It would be more helpful to you. The college helps their students as much as possible so that they can achieve their dreams. Many activities are also c
