You can choose either of them. It will be hard to get admission in a good B-School as there is very stiff competition.

Hi. If qualifying for a scholarship to study abroad was so easy, candidate would have been offered a scholarship every second. Banks would not be giving education loans to students requiring the finance to study in a B-School abroad. Firstly, for getting a scholarship, all you need to know is what it takes to get into a (top) B-School: Extensive work experience, high GMAT, extracurricular activities, outstanding recommendation letters and excellent MBA career goals essay. All these sum up to a good application package. If your profile consist of these factors in a good way, chances of getting admission and a scholarship becomes higher.

It is not necessary to give GMAT for pursuing MBA in finance in India, some B-schools do accept GMAT scores along with other exam scores. It depends on the college you are applying for.

Hello,
By the way of introduction, I am an alumnus of IIM, Indore. So, basically, the answer has follow up questions. What kind of life do you expect post an MBA? What kind of profile you want to get into? Whether or not you want to settle abroad? Do you plan to open your own venture?
To put my story here, my main intention to choose an MBA here than looking in abroad was:
1- I wanted to settle over here.
2- I wanted to explore more into analytics plus management world and India provides best mix for both if you want to do a job in a corporate world.
3- I do not intend to open my own venture.

Dear Mool Raj,
As per your query my suggestion is to pursue MBA in sales and marketing from IGNOU. It is worth and costs reasonable. Else go for Symbiosis/NMIMS.

Many competitive exams for MBA require more than or equal to 50% in graduation.
45% in case the student belongs to other backward class.
The basic eligibility to apply for different colleges through this exam requires 50% in graduation.
Also, different companies that visit for campus placements may have certain criteria for graduation percentage.

The one is Diploma and another one is degree, in India both are equivalent. Abroad, MBA is superior degree.
