The scope of MBA in Hospitality is increasing at a fast rate. It is not very high in India as of now but is expected to gather momentum in the years to come. But you must do it form a reputed institute which has a record of good and immediate placement in reputed hotels.

No, it is not necessary that you have work experience if you need admission in good MBA colleges through their mode of admission which is through exams like CAT, MAT etc. However, if you want to do MBA through
distance education mode then you need at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

You can choose the field based on the following : 1. The kind of job you want to do ie the field in which you want to make your career and 2: Based on your engineering subject ie either IT Infrastructure, or Operations Management or Total Quality Management. 3. Thirdly you can chose based on your personal interest such as Marketing or Finance. Think about your career and you will yourself get the right answer.

Your question is not quite clear as to what you want the guidance for. However, it seems that you are asking for MBA course through distance mode of education. You are qualified for it based on your work experience. You can apply in institutions like Symbiosis, SMU, ICFAI, Pondicherry University etc.

I would recommend Dhruva College of Management for PGDM course. They are having specialization in HRM, marketing, finance and business analytics. They are having good infrastructure and good food with hygienic kitchen. The faculty members are trained from IIMs and are well-experienced in the corporate world. There are conceptual learning methods, day to day update of the syllabus and improvement training sessions with Toastmaster clubs. About 95% of the students got their internships from the college.
