Hi Bapan,
In Kolkata, it is tough to find a college having fee within 4.5 lakhs as a decent college rather that Calcutta University, You can check Gnanamani College of Technology, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu if you have 55% in graduation and a decent CAT /CMAT score (course fee is 1.6L). But kindly check whether it include the internship cost in this fee structure. It provides healthy job opportunities in terms of its ROI. Kindly check the college website or Shiksha page of the same for more information. Feel free to revert in case of further queries and kindly upvote if you found this useful.

Hi Sanjay,
Are you comparing universities of Oxford and Glasgow? If yes then it makes little sense since Oxford is amongst the top 10 universities in the world. University of Glasgow is a well-ranked university as well and a top one in UK but when it comes to world ranking it is Oxford or even Cambridge.

Hi Aihan,
Difficult to say. There are many degree holders from recognised foreign universities not having a job till date. In India, HR managers or companies have a list of foreign universities, if you don't belong to the university on their list chances are that you won't be recruited. It will all depend on the course you want to study. PGDM holders are plenty in India so why should a company hire you. Ask this to yourself. Analyse market information properly before applying.

Hi Aishwarya,
To study MBA abroad you must not only complete your Bachelor's degree but you must also gain work experience. You must also take the GMAT and TOEFL or IELTS. If you are interested in MBA abroad from a good university, prepare yourself by working hard on your academics, get a job and also engage yourself in extra-curricular. You can become eligible to apply without work experience if you have an outstanding profile. Keep visiting websites for popular B-Schools abroad and understand the admission process. Prepare accordingly.

If your institute is approved by AICTE then also you are eligible for government jobs. Also, your university should be approved by UGC. There is no problem in applying for government jobs. The only criterion is that institute should be recognized by central or state governing body.

After clearing CAT exams and on the basis of the percentile, you can apply to colleges which have MBA in IT management. You can start your preparation for CAT from 2nd-years itself which help you in getting good scores.

No gap certificate is required to pursue MBA. You can pursue MBA anytime. There is no restriction for this course. In some B-Schools, there is a restriction of age but the gap is not considered in any form.
