Generally, you can opt for B-schools. But, sometimes, you may choose general colleges.

Marketing stream has average placements while HR has very good placements.A average salary is Rs 5 lakhs per annum.

Freshers with MBA marketing and data analytics courses can expect starting salaries (CTC) of INR 5 to 15 lakhs. IIT and IIM graduates can expect top end salaries.

MBA IT is a sector specific specialisation of MBA. MBA marketing graduates can be employed in all type of industries including IT industry where as MBA IT graduates can only be employed in IT and ITES industries. Therefore, job opportunities and scope are wider for MBA marketing graduates.

The two year course fee in XISS excluding other charges is Rs 6 lakhs per annum (only academic). CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT score cards are valid for admission followed by GD & PI round.

If you want to do a certificate course in sales and marketing the retail management would be the best option for you. You will study sales and marketing in detail in this course.

What is your engineering background? If you are from mechanical then marketing would be good for you. Go for HR if you are from any other branch.

BIMM has a more scope in terms of placements. If you wish to join any of these colleges, my choice will be BIMM and there are lot more good colleges in Pune. You can also go for IIM.

Considering you good academic record my suggestion is to prepare for CAT and give it your best to make it to a good business school or if you are interested in international trade then go for IIFT.
