You have a good probability of getting accepted into a government medical college for MBBS if your NEET score falls into the ST category at 447. With cutoff scores normally falling between 163 and 129, the 40th percentile is the qualifying percentile for the ST group.

The number of applications, available seats, and state-specific quotas are some of the variables that affect admission chances. For example, the All India Rank (AIR) of 201386 with a score of 502 was the 2024 state quota cutoff for ST applicants in government medical institutes in Andhra Pradesh

It is recommended that you attend both State Quota and All India Quota (AIQ) c

To get admission into the MBBS programme at K.D. Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, you need to qualify the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam, with the admission process primarily based on your NEET score; you may also need to consider the UP NEET depending on your state eligibility criteria, and must meet the minimum required percentage in 12th grade Science subjects to be eligible for application.

With 331 marks in NEET 2024 and being an OBC candidate with 7.5% reservation, it is difficult but not impossible to get a government MBBS seat. Government medical colleges have different cutoffs every year based on the level of difficulty and the number of candidates. For OBC candidates with reservation, the cutoff would be lower than the general category. Although the premier government colleges would remain inaccessible to you, if there is any hope of admission in state-level medical colleges or lower-cutoff colleges, you can attempt it. Verify the cutoffs of individual colleges and register for counseling for detailed information.

With a NEET score of 214 in the SC category, admission to government MBBS colleges is not possible, as past trends show higher cutoffs. For example, in Maharashtra, the 2024 cutoff for SC students in government medical colleges was 554 marks.
In the case of BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), though the qualifying percentile for SC students is 40%, which is equivalent to marks between 161 and 127, actual admission cutoffs tend to be higher because of competition.
