CMC Vellore is the top private MBBS college, with tuition fees of INR 15,000. Self-financing private and minority medical colleges have relatively lower tuition fees if you secure a seat through the State Quota via the Directorate of Medical Education and Research - DMER Chennai counselling rather than the management quota.

The cut offs differ from year to year on the basis of category, reservation and seat. Government cut offs are much more compared to private colleges. So rather than rumours think of the previous year's official cutoff list as it will give you an accurate idea.
