Hi,

There's no provision for lateral entry to MBBS programme through BSc Nursing or any course. You'll be required to fulfil eligibility criteria to get admission to MBBS program, clear NEET UG exam and get a seat in 1st year as every student.

No, the BUMS course is not equivalent to MBBS. Both are undergraduate medical degrees, but they pertain to different systems of medicine.

MBBS is focused on modern allopathic medicine, which is the mainstream form of medicine practised in most parts of the world, including India.

BUMS course, on the other hand, is based on the principles of Unani medicine, which is a traditional system of medicine originating in ancient Greece and subsequently developed into a comprehensive medical system by Islamic scholars.

MD is a PG degree pursued after MBBS, usually lasting 3 years, where doctors specialize in a particular field like internal medicine, paediatrics, or radiology, gaining deeper knowledge and clinical expertise. DM is a super-speciality degree, pursued after MD, typically taking 3 years, focusing on an even narrower field.
