To apply for the MCA ay NIT Agartala, candidates must visit the website of the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET). Candidates have to clear the NIMCET exam with a good rank, and based on their ranks will be allotted seats at various campuses of NITs.

To apply for MCA at GLA University, students have to qualify for all the selection parameters for GLA University MCA admission, which is inclusive of fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria and qualifying for the university-level entrance exam. Later on, aspirants need to apply online on the official website of GLA University and fill an online application form with all the appropriate details, along with submitting the relevant documents and paying an adequate amount of application fee.

To fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for MCA, students have to pass Class 12 with Mathematics as on of the main subject along with graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects. Interested students can visit the official website of GLA University and fill an online application form to apply for the course.

GLA University offers a two-year MCA course. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Aspirants need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Students are selected based on a valid score of GLAET (90 minutes MCQ test), which is conducted by GLA University.

Candidates are eligible to take admission to BCA without being from Mathematics backgrounds. Even those from Humanities and Medical background are eligible for BCA. But for MCA, Mathematics in Class 12 or UG-level is the minimum requirement.

In order to be eligible for the MCA programme, a candidate needs to possess a bachelor's degree of three-year duration from a recognised institute/ university and Mathematics in Class 12 with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ ST candidates).

The fee for the MCA programme is INR 58,120 per year.
