To apply for the MCA ay NIT Agartala, candidates must visit the website of the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET). Candidates have to clear the NIMCET exam with a good rank, and based on their ranks will be allotted seats at various campuses of NITs.

NIT Agartala MCA fee is INR 2.1 lakh. For detailed fee structure, you can contact the admission department of the institute. The amount is taken from several sources hence may change.

Candidates have to download the NIMCET admit card by visiting the official website. The exam-conducting authority will not send the NIMCET admit card by post or email. Candidates must download the NIMCET admit card and take a print out. To download the NIMCET admit card, check below the steps mentioned:

  • Open the official website https; nimcet.in
  • Click NIMCET admit card link  
  • Log in using your e-mail ID and password
  • NIMCET admit card will be displayed on the screen 
  • Candidates can download and take the printout of admit card on an A4 size sheet

Candidates are eligible to take admission to BCA without being from Mathematics backgrounds. Even those from Humanities and Medical background are eligible for BCA. But for MCA, Mathematics in Class 12 or UG-level is the minimum requirement.

In order to be eligible for the MCA programme, a candidate needs to possess a bachelor's degree of three-year duration from a recognised institute/ university and Mathematics in Class 12 with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ ST candidates).
