The Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) is a popular course offered by the University of Hyderabad. Admissions to this course at Hyderabad University are offered on the basis of the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET). Candidates need to have a Bachelors degree with an aggregate of 60% to be eligible for admission. According to the official website of the university, the admission for the MCA (2022-24) session will be done on the basis of merit of NIMCET-22 ranks or score. Currently, it has invited applications for the MCA course.

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a pan-India level entrance exam. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level courses offered by the participating institutions. Hi Hitarth, you will always have competition from all computer Science field students. Surely, after BCA+MCA you will get preference in front of B.Tech but you will have to prove your skills, abilities, and worthiness to the company. As in today's time, companies prefer skills over degrees.

Hi Simran, you can land a good job offer from both fields. Just focus on the skills of whatever course you are pursuing. In MCA you will get more technical stuff whereas in MBA you will get more management-related opportunities. So, Don't worry, just give your best shot in whichever field you are in. Both are great!
