The seats for MCA courses offered by SMIT can be secured only by merit in the last qualifying examination. SMIT, Sikkim, has no agents or middlemen for admissions. There is no donation or capitation fee of any kind. There are no management seats too for MCA coursres. Candidates are advised to apply directly to the institute through online or offline mode. They are cautioned against going through any agents.

To get a PG scholarship at SMIT, Manipal University, MCA students are required to achieve good grades in their BCA/BSc (Computer Science)/ BSc. IT/BE (CSE)/BTech (CSE)/BE (IT)/BTech IT or any graduation degree (BCom/BA/BVoc/etc.), preferably with Mathematics. Yes, a two-year MCA course is offered at the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, BHU. Its mode of study is full-time. Selection in this course is subject to merit in the CUET-PG examination.
