Aerospace Engineers are more likely to work for the military and government as compared to Mechanical Engineers. While it comes to employment, mechanical Engineering has a wider scope. Both Mechanical as well as Aerospace Engineers get a decent salary. The entrance requirements for both fields are pretty much the same.
