According to my opinion, you should pursue ECE from IIIT Kancheepuram because this is good for the placement as well as knowledge.

It all depends upon your branch, your board percentage and of course your caste. So if at all you are of OBC category with 92 % in board exam then 160 marks would be enough to get admission in some of the decent branch like Mech, EEE, civil. But for ECE and CSE it might be a bit more ranging from 180-190.

7. Instrumentation
There are no more specializations available in Mechanical Engineering at ITM. Mechatronics is another engineering branch combined Mechanical and Electronics.
