The cut-off for various engineering branches is different every year and depends on the category. For EEE, a cutoff of around 170-173 is expected for general category candidates; 160-165 for ME and higher ranges for CSE, usually cutoffs of 172-175 for most applicants from the General category.

So, considering the first and last-round cutoff ranks, the minimum rank required is 225423 to be eligible for admission to BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
