Hey,

Determining the "the toughest" engineering branch is subjective and depends on individual strengths, interests, and learning styles. Mechanical Engineering is often mentioned as challenging, but here's a nuanced perspective:

  • Broad and complex: It encompasses diverse areas like thermodynamics,  mechanics,  materials science,  design,  and manufacturing,  requiring a strong foundation in physics and mathematics.
  • Mathematical intensity: Advanced coursework involves complex calculations,  equations,  and problem-solving,  demanding strong analytical skills.

The admission process to this course in Dream Institute of Technology is quite simple and easy to follow. Students have to take an entrance test and their class 12th board exams are also considered while admitting students. Apart from the 12th Standard marks, Dream Institute considers the students’ performance in different engineering entrance examinations including the JEE Main and UPSEE. Thus, by offering places that will be reserved for students passing both the nationwide examination and the state level test, the institute gives a chance to many people.

Generally speaking, IIT Mandi enjoys a higher ranking and reputation nation-wide than does IGDTUW. IITs enjoy a good reputation throughout the country when it comes to the quality of education and research.

2. Department Strength: The CSE department of IGDTUW is good concerning faculties, and the industry linkages are also good. IIT Mandi has a great Mechanical Engineering branch with excellent research facilities.

On the other hand, if you prefer a more general, higher-ranked ins
