Hi,
If you have completed Diploma in any branch, then you have to apply for lateral entry counseling in Anna University. Only few places are available per branch. If you get good percentage, then it will very easy to join any college of your choice. Anna university will conduct lateral entry counselling after conducting regular students admission, so you might probably join one and half month later than, the regular class for second year had completed. Hello Chaaru, Aah! That is a very interesting and exciting proposal that you are mentioning. I wish this could be the case since indeed many subjects are common between many branches of engineering. But I am afraid present situation of admission rules will not allow it.

To get admission in this college and in the mentioned branches, you have to score rank not more than 35000, only then you can be able to get admission in this college and in the civil or mechanical branch.
