The eligibility for seeking admission in aircraft maintenance engineering course is 10 + 2 in physics chemistry and math. As you had done your Diploma after plus two stages you are definitely eligible for this and yes wearing spectacles or glasses does not debar you from taking admission and even subsequently working on the aircraft as a maintenance engineer. Distance B.E/B.Tech courses are not valid for employment and higher education purpose as per AICTE guidelines. Hence never do these. Its better to do lateral B.E/B.Tech or Part regular courses.

The placement in core companies in CUSAT is very the worst in mechanical branch. In mechanical branch, you cannot get placement in core companies like Accenture, TCS, cognizant.
