Yes, they provide Lateral entry.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized board with minimum 55%.
(For SC/ ST :- Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized board.)
Or,
Candidate must have passed B.Sc from a recognized college/ university with minimum 55% and must have studied mathematics at graduation level or 10+2 level.
(For SC/ ST :- Candidate must have passed B.Sc from a recognized college/ university and must have studied mathematics at graduation level or 10+2 level.)

Make sure in which campus you are willing to join, as many Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences are not offering Diploma in Rayalasema region.

Sorry to say but the placements of mechanical engineering in every college in India is on slight downfall so you have to work very hard to get placed in good companies. RIET is a good college and every facility you are seeking is available there. The average package of RIET is around 3.5 LPA.
