CV Raman is a good institute for engr studies with large number of companies visiting campus for placement and the institute is well represented in FSAE SAE and other competitions. It would depend if you have any other option or not.

You may stand a chance to get into NIE College Mysore but for SJCE is not possible for this rank. For more information, check out previous year cut off kea.kar.nic.in/dcet2017.htm
