At Charotar University of Science & Technology (CHARUSAT), Computer Engineering typically has a higher placement rate compared to Mechanical Engineering. As per the latest reports, the placement rate for B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering is generally better than that for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

Additionally, CHARUSAT places emphasis on placing each student possible, giving priority to B.Tech. students before moving onto MCA and M.Sc. (IT) students.

Therefore, while specific figures for Mechanical Engineering are not readily available, it is likely that Computer Engineering has a stronger placement record at CHARUSAT.

Yes, it is possible to pursue an M.Tech in Computer Science after completing a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. There is no restriction on specializations after you are graduate as a mechanical engineer. Although most students prefer to study courses related to mechanical engineering only, like aerospace engineering, automobile engineering, and more, you can opt for a master's in computer science.

To get badmission in CU, CUCET exam cutoffs are requuired. For the M.E. in Mechanical Engineering at CU, you need at least 55% of your Bachelor's degree in the right field.

The cutoffs for CUCET are like score targets. If you hit 90.01 - 100, you get a full semester fee scholarship of 56,500 INR until May 31, 2024. The scholarship gets less as your score goes down, but it's a cool way to get support based on how well you do in your studies.

CU also helps in other ways, like Teaching Assistantships, Research Stipends, and a programme where you can earn while you learn. CU has awesome facilities, flexible classes, and cool programs that co
