Hello Sir, placements is the best thing in this college. During the 3rd year (5th and 6th) semester students are given chances for placements. The average package is around 3 lakhs were as the highest was 13.1 lakhs.

Mechanical department of Thapar is well recognized. Thapar's best branch is mechanical. So, yes, placements of any sub-branch of mechanical is good. If you have interest, take it without any doubt.
