See, NIT is a better option than any other normal college but on the other side, ECE is a bit tough. Also, its not just your level of interest to opt for your B.Tech, post that you should be in a position.
To get placed quickly, it depends on based on your college reputation and campus selection. Mainly, your option will be based on your career plan post B.Tech.

Hello,
This depends on the university. If you are enrolled into a university like Politecnico di Milano which is a globally known university you have made a good BET. So, check the university ranks and repute, career assistance etc. If you have an excellent profile, you should try Germany.

Hello Kumar,
GATE scores are accepted however not mandatory and for MS programs not Bachelor's degree. To study Bachelor's you must clear IIT-JEE adv because German universities require 13 year education not 12.

Sorry, it is not possible to get mechanical in the first category, but you may get in the 3rd category. But, you have to pay more fees for that.

Shashank yadavdiploma-aeronautical ,btech-mechanical engg..

Beginner-Level 4

Hi,
Theoretically speaking, both are similar courses. Proportion of placements vis-a-vis pass out is similar in both branches. However in India core jobs for aeronautical engineering graduates are very less. They changeover to software or do MBA or go abroad. They are not employable on main of civil aircraft since it requires DGCA license. I would therefore recomend mechanical engineering as compared with aeronautical engineering.
