Out of mechanical and CSE, in my view, CSE is a better option as opportunities in computer science is immense. Computer software and networks are applied in most of manufacturing, technology, consultancy firms. So scope is wider in Computers. Some Master's degree courses you can look for after graduation in mechanical engineering are:
Thermal Engineering
Industrial and Production Engineering
Automobile Engineering
In computer Science engineering
Computer Applications
Embedded Systems
Software Engineering.

You cannot directly pursue M.Ed. You have to first do B.Ed and also, only some colleges are allowing you to do B.Ed if you are engineer, I mean (B.Tech or M.Tech holder). And that too also for those who have done B.Tech in pure science and not in the technical field. Kindly visit this link:
