Hi,
After B.Tech in ME you've a lot of options.
You can pursue your Masters degree.
You can prepare for GATE exam and get a prestigious college for Masters with a good placement.
In addition, there are many organizations like Visakhapatnam, SAIL, ISRO and BARC which conduct their own exam.

Yes, it's a good option to take mechanical engineering at PES University. Infrastructure and placement is okay. Teaching is good. Labs are well-equipped.

The campus has well ventilated, spacious classrooms, seminar rooms, laboratories, library, administrative block and conference hall. The campus provides the in-house xeroxing facility, bank, student's consumer Co-operative Society, cafeteria, etc. The central computer centre has structured networking and server with an adequate number of terminals.
