If you did class 12th regular/private, then only you can take admission for BA /B.Sc in geography. After Diploma in mechanical engineering, you are not eligible for that. You can do B.E. / B.Tech.

You should choose the field of your interest for internship. Take permission from your college then apply. You should do the internship of minimum 1 month and maximum permitted by your college. According to me, production or designing (CAD/CAM) is best choice. Do at least 2-3 internships. These will be very useful in further subjects as well as placements. Visit the web / title - internshala, linked in on Google.

You are not eligible for M.Sc in Chemistry. You can do M.Tech. /ME in Chemical engineering. If you want to M.Sc in maths, then you are eligible because it is necessary to study the subject at least for 2 years/4semesters in which you want to do Master's degree. In B.Tech Mechanical, a student studies Maths in 2 years but, he studies chemistry only for 1 year /1 semester.
