Hi, In Tamil Nadu, the lateral admissions are processed centrally by one of the assigned Government College by Anna University. You will have to apply online and based on the marks obtained in Diploma, you will get admission in one of the colleges. The vacancies for lateral admission are also announced at the time of seeking applications online and till then nobody can tell where are the vacancies and how many are these. Hence, I suggest for you to wait for the announcement by Anna University for opening admissions for lateral method.

B.Tech in Correspondence is not possible now. Supreme Court has ordered against such courses and AICTE does not recognise them. You can however do MBA now.

Switzerland has some of the world renown universities like ETH in Zurich, EPFL in Lausanne, IHEID in Geneva, University of Lausanne or the University of St. Gallen. Keep in mind, it's much better to speak the local language, so if you can't speak either French, German or Italian, better go for a language course first. Yes, it is good to study in Switzerland to some extent. Hope this helps you. Be free to share any problem you have.
Good luck.

No, an MS in Canada is definitely not better than that in US. Pay packages may be similar, but the job opportunities are limited in Canada. Even though Canada requires a lot of foreign skilled labour, unemployment rate is slightly more in Canada. Canadian dollar is 30% less valued than US dollar hence the package is on the downside. Population density is 4 person per square km against 34 in US (its 410 in India). If you like a life of solitude you may go to Canada. On an average, Canadian winter is a bit colder than US winter. Top 3 in Canada is better than top 20-40 in US. There is a lot more to weigh in than pay and opportunities.
