Placements depends entirely on the student. As per my knowledge, many good companies participate in campus placements and you can expect average package of INR 56 LPA for CSE branch. However, some students gets as high as INR 12 LPA and some gets as low as INR 3.5 LPA.

But still, the first one is better due to healthy environment. A peaceful decorum is necessary for personality development which is necessary with a good degree.
