Yes, why can't you focus on GATE? Get good score with GATE, try for NITIE, Mumbai, study industrial engineering which will be providing you great career aspects. If not that then you can try for CAT/MAT, etc. for MBA.

Hello Rahul, the preference order is :
1) BITS Pilani.
2) VIT Vellore.
3) Manipal University.
4) Thapar University.
5) BITS Mesra.
6) PSG Coimbatore.
7) RV.
If you get BITS Pilani, then go for it.

Hello Vassu,
It's always better to take a break, study hard and clear all the backlogs. With this, you start with a clean slate in next semester to enable study if only limited subjects. I would strongly advise you to opt for this strategy.

First of all you need to learn their language. Most of the courses in Germany are taught in German language. The fee structure is comparatively very low but the living costs are quite high. If you find a part-time job in Germany then it will be more helpful.

I think B.Tech will be more beneficial for you as you can get direct second year lateral entry admission. This provision will not be there in B.Sc, hence the duration to complete either B.Tech or B.Sc. will be same for you.
