Eligibility criteria for B.Tech mechanical engineering is that candidate should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics and adequate proficiency in English. Candidate is required to sit for BITSAT examination.

In order to become eligible to get admission in B.Tech mechanical engineering in any engineering college, you are advised to have physics, chemistry and mathematics as a subject at class 12th.
