If you are doing Diploma in mechanical engineering after class 12th, then you can apply for JEE Mains. Else, you will be eligible to appear for JEE Mains in final year of Diploma in engineering.

Dear Sunny,
Pursuing a Diploma or a Masters course would be dependent on your UG academic scores and IELTS score. Also, colleges (offering Diploma) have lower fees as compared to universities. You may consider pure mechanical engineering programs or consider robotics or industrial manufacturing. Hope this helps.

If you want a job then you can give several exams like E-litmus or AMCAT. These exams will help you in getting a good job in your field area. These exams provide good options. Besides this, you can pursue some certificate course in Auto CAD or SCADA tools which help you in getting jobs faster.

Mechanical Engineering at Anna University is ranked 11 as per Week 2015 Survey. Selection is based on based on TNEA examination. It is an excellent option for student to become Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech mechanical engineering is that candidate should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics and adequate proficiency in English. Candidate is required to sit for BITSAT examination.
