You have to appear for national or state level entrance exams like JEE, BITSAT, SRMJEE, UPSEE and opt for B.Tech/BE in mechanical engineering.

Hi,
Take a look at the following link and select public/state universities that offer courses in English. While 72% is a decent score, you will need LORs, CV and TOEFL/IELTS for applying.

Both these branches are good, opt for the one that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for a psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear your confusion.

Hello Lovepreeth,
With this percentage and IELTS score, definitely you are eligible for most of the good universities in Canada. However, it is possible to evaluate only if you provide your complete profile. It'll be an added advantage if you have published papers,Internships, work experience etc.
You can try for:
1) Carleton University
2) Concordia University
3) University of Western Ontario
4) University of Manitoba
5) University of Windsor
6) McGill University
and many more
All the best.

There can be two choices -
If you have scored a good percentage in 12th board exams then you can prepare for JEE Mains by yourself. For this, you can also refer to the study material of ALLEN, RESONANCE or VIBRANT coaching institute. In this case, you can complete your first year of polytechnic also.
The second one is, if you have not secured good percentage in 12th boards then refer to a good coaching institute and try to score good marks in JEE Mains.

You have 4 options, first, you are eligible to go for a job. Secondly you can appear for GATE exam and pursue Masters in India. Thirdly, you can appear for GRE and IELTS and can do MS abroad. Last but not the least, you can go for MBA through CAT exam or through GMAT to do it abroad. Now your choice depends on your interest & passion. Choose wisely.

Hello Zeeshan,
There is a huge competition in GATE and its completely uncertain to get a seat until/unless you are so talented.
But when it comes to GRE, there are thousands of options available. If not admitted to one university, you can get in another but same is not the case with GATE.
Better choose GRE and try for scholarship.
Also, if you think you can crack GATE then go for it.
