You can do B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering , it's a Bachelor's degree as well as it's a undergraduate course.
Otherwise, you can do Diploma in Mechanical Engineering but it's not a Bachelor's degree and UG course.
It's better to do B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a good college or university.
Remember good colleges and Universities always offer good placement opportunities.
Best Of Luck :)

You can do hotel management degree or courses after B.Tech ME if this field is of interest to you.
Both fields are not correlated therefore evaluate your decision before taking final decision of doing hotel management.

Hi Manohar,
Applicants are generally required to clear IELTS or TOEFL, depending on the language of instruction applicants might be required to have German language proficiency. If your overall grades are average, then you must consider taking the GRE, but it is not mandatory. Please note that admissions in Germany are very competitive and outstanding academic profiles are deemed fit.
I hope it helps.

Mechanical engineering is the father branch of automobile engineering.
Mechanical deals with the basics and core concepts that are used in almost every mechanical object but automobile deals with only subjects or courses that would help in making or studying an automobile altogether. Basics are same such as thermodynamics, strength of material, theory of machines, heat transfer, refrigeration etc
The better would be to do mechanical engineering as it would help you getting good job opportunities including jobs in automobile sector too.

If you are not interested then don't pursue it under pressure because you will not study as much as required. So, quit it and do what do you want with determination and give your best.
All the best.
