Psychology is the study of mind, thought pattern and behaviour of human being. ART student can become psychologist but not psychiatrist. For becoming psychiatrist student need to be MBBS but for becoming psychologist students can take any stream. The Basic difference between psychologist and psychiatrist is that, the psychiatrist has the authority to treat the patient of depression
through the counselling, psychotherapies and medication but the psychologist can treat his/her patients through the counselling
and through the psychotherapy but not with medication. If you are 12th passed candidate you can opt for B.A. In psychology or if you are B.A. Graduate you can opt for M.A. In psychology. If student possess below given qualities he/she can perform really well in this field.
