You can go but 3 years of B.Com then 4-years of B.Sc optometry which makes it a total of 7 years. So my suggestion is that if you are from a well-settled family, you can go for B.Sc in optometry. If not, do Diploma or better find placement from B.Com itself. Think well. Get your family members' suggestions. Optometrists are required in India.

All government jobs are subject to eligibility conditions of minimum marks in Graduation and some of Post Graduation too. While many have interviews & written test required to be qualified by any MBBS DEGREE holder of MCI recognised institution else you need to appear for extra clearance test for being eligible if you're passing out of a non-Indian institution.

Whole medical graduation studies are like overloaded studies. The cutoff and study load is high always because of one reason that you have more knowledge to save lives or better the lifestyle. But studies are always a struggle. The only solution is Group Study and focused study. It's better to stay in the graduation course you are in.

Hi Sushmita,
You can avail 85% quota of two states in NEET for sure. As far as I know, different states have different definitions of a domicile. For example- In Bihar, Domicile means being a permanent resident of Bihar (I.e. having your own home in Bihar). On the other hand, if you've done your 11th and 12th from a recognised school in Delhi, you would be considered a domiciled candidate of Delhi as well. So, in such a condition as mentioned above in the example, a student will be able to avail the 85% quota seats for both the states (Delhi and Bihar).
