If you want to cure diseases and save people from misery, do MBBS. If you want to find cure for diseases and save people from misery, do medical biotechnology. In India if you are looking for a respectable job, join MBBS. Biotech field started way back in India and it's pretty much saturated. But if you can excel in it, it's no different!

First of all, as said by everyone it totally depends on your interests. Here are some points regarding the comparison.
*study content*Bams involves ayurveda,study of plants,how to prepare medicines naturally and so on so the studies of this field are quite hard. On the other hand bds only involves the studies of dental health and its theory.
*enterence*for bds u have to give neet and score 450 above to get a good govt. college and bams can be achieved by both neet and state enterence test.
*salary*ofcoarse bds has much higher salary then bams and scope too.
*my suggestions*I think ushould go for bds.Its fun playing with the tools,u can als

You can't get a government BDS college without NEET, do not panic as you're eligible for pharmacy: BHMS or BAMS.

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is an integrated Indian Degree in the medical field. This degree programme is conferred to those students who studied the modern medicines and traditional Ayurveda.
The minimum eligibility for BAMS programme is qualifying is 10+2 examination with good score. The candidate must have subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology in HSC. The selection of the candidate is based on the final merit as the sum of the total numbers obtained in the qualifying examination (class 12th) and the marks scored in the entrance examination. Some of the popular entrance exams are:
