You cannot study medical without a relevant background, since you had commerce I doubt if you are eligible. You can check for associate degree programs which are of two years before proceeding to a Bachelor's degree. I would advise you to check directly with the colleges.

If you get through a good and reputed university, you should. Your decision will depend on what you want to study, your aim, budget, your profile, university admission requirements, etc. Australia, Canada and NZ are some of the popular countries now.

Eligibility for the B.pharma programme:
10+2 with Physics + Chemistry + Maths / Biology / Biotech Science / CS (min 60%)
You need to fill the application form through online www.amity.edu and than you have to appear for English test and interview for the admission process.

To further study or practice in US, your brother must clear the United States Medical Licensing Exams (USMLE). USMLE is an extremely tough exam. Please visit their website for details. To study some health related master degree programs you must take the GRE.
