East-West Medical College is good for the International students. The East-West Medical College aims to teach and train the students for five academic years to offer an MBBS degree conducted by dedicated teachers to create graduate doctors. The total money required is INR 26 lakh for one academic year. Higher scores are not needed in the English proficiency exams. 

There are highly qualified faculty for newly designed community-oriented medical education including MBBS courses. The total number of seats allocated is 127 per session of which 45% of the seats are reserved for International students.

The eligibility requirements for joining East West Medical College and Hospital for Indians are as follows. An average Indian student can meet these criteria easily :

  • 0′ level or equivalent examination passed after 2021.
  • A’ level or equivalent examination passed not before 2023.
  • A’ level or equivalent exam must be completed within 2 years of O’ level or equivalent exam.
  • Minimum aggregate GPA in O’ level or equivalent and A’ level or equivalent examination:7.00 (seven)

There are a lot of scholarships and candidates can also apply for schemes offered by the government of India. The applicants of MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard can apply for tuition fee concession. It is offered to students of weaker sections of socities, whose parents income is below INR 4.5 lakh per annum. Apart from this, there are scholarships/freeships offered on merit-cum-means basis.

To get a part-time job while studying at East West Medical College and Hospital is not that easy. They have a demanding schedule, licensing requirements that prohibit outside work and need to focus solely on their medical studies and training. The jobs are also not readily available.  

People can work for a maximum of 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week. Students can work for fewer hours as they have to complete their studies as well.

No, a Pharmacist is not considered a doctor in the same sense as a medical doctor (MD or MBBS). While pharmacists (who hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Pharm D) are highly trained healthcare professionals with expertise in medications, drug therapy, and patient care, they do not typically diagnose illnesses or perform medical procedures in the same way medical doctors do.

Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission is done based on aspirants NEET scores. The university releases its application form in March for all the programmes. In addition, the application deadline is in June as per the last year schedule.

The most preferred course by Indian students at the East-West College and Hospital is the MBBS program. The eligibility criteria for getting into the East-West Medical College and Hospital are:-

  • Four recent passport-size photos.
  • Photocopies of SSC/O level mark sheet & certificate and mark sheet & testimonial of HSC/A level from the board (original to be submitted at the time of admission).
  • Photocopy of Nationality or the birth certificate.
