MHT CET

The paper will consist of three parts Physics, Chemistry, and Biology respectively. The total time allotted for the exams will be 3 hours. The number of questions for each subject is listed below:
Physics: 50 questions.
Chemistry: 50 questions.
Biology: 100 questions.
Therefore, the total number of questions for the total time allotted (3 hrs) will be 200 questions. To score higher, you will require a lot of practice since CET is more about speed.

Apart from following aforesaid books candidate are also advised to follow previous year's question papers and model paper to make themselves comfortable with related questions. It is also important to do a proper revision of what you have studied. So, you should have proper time for revision after completion of syllabus.

Planning is the first step to prepare for MH CET exam. It is important to know all the details about the syllabus. You should gather all details about the syllabus and prepare accordingly. Plan your preparation so that you can finish the syllabus on time. Every single topic from the syllabus plays an important role in the preparation. So try to cover all syllabus in your preparations.
Time Management

Revision
Last ten days before the examination should be used only for revision. At the time of revision, you should be more focused on the main exam and refreshing topics. Practice all the topics during the time of revision. Practice mock test to boost your preparations. By practicing mock test, analyze your performance, time management as well as weak points or subjects. Find out your weak points and work on them.

MHT-CET basically requires a lengthy paper to be completed within the given time limit completely without any error and silly mistakes.
One should be made exam ready for that.
As the course of JEE and MHT-CET is same except few topics mentioned in the Maharashtra board textbooks. So, one need not go for separate MHT-CET coachings other than JEE.
Also, it is better to clear Advanced than MHT-CET. So, get through the whole syllabus of Advanced. It will help you to get the desired place in MHT-CET.
For the preparations, get through the Maharashtra board textbooks, try to figure out the scenario of the whole syllabus and the way in which questions are asked.
Don't forget to list out the number of topics which are not included in JEE syllabus. For example, hyperbolic trigonometric functions.
The last and the most important thing to be done is working on silly mistakes.
The exam requires, at the whole, speed and accuracy.
Also, try to solve as many question papers as you can so that you will not panic at the time of the exam.

DTE Maharashtra will conduct MHT-CET 2018 for the UG engineering and architecture examination in the state. The exam will be held at state level and mostly all of the colleges and universities in Maharashtra will participate in it. The pharmacy admission in the state might also be done on the basis of MHT-CET.
Yes, students from other states can appear in the exam if they fulfil the eligibility condition of MHT-CET. The board candidates who have Indian nationality are eligible for the exam. For getting admission in the 1st year of B.Tech, the candidate has to score more than 45% marks in their qualifying exam then only he or she will be allowed to appear for the exam. The students from other states have to fulfil the eligibility type 1 to type 5 for form filling. Category or reservation policy is available only for Maharashtra state students and some relief is given to the Jammu and Kashmir migrants candidates, but a big part of the seat is reserved for the state students. Almost, 85% seats are reserved for the students which are not good. Maximum 60% seats may be reserved, so by taking the exam, they can't get admission as outside students get only 15% seats. So, it is quite tough to take admission.
