M.Sc. Microbiology or Master of Science in Microbiology is a 2-year postgraduate course. A minimum M.Sc. Microbiology eligibility is to have a B.Sc. Degree with a minimum of 50% or more from a recognized university to apply for the M.Sc. Microbiology course. Some colleges admit on basis of entrance exams. Some of the popular entrances are IPU CET BHU PET OUCET, BITSAT DUET JNUEE, etc. Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, etc are some of the popular universities conducting their entrance for M.Sc. Microbiology admission. The admission process is further followed by a round of counseling and personal interview.

Yes why not. My brother has done the same course B.Sc. Microbiology at lovely professional University
and he also has no Prior knowledge as it is not at all mandatory to pursue an education career in finance (same with marketing) with prior knowledge in that field. But it will be an edge to have a background in finance. Finally, have a wonderful career and enjoy what you do. Candidates who have completed a two-year pre-university course (plus two) from the Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/boards with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. The candidate should have studied Biology / Chemistry as one of the subjects.
Admission will be based on the score secured in the qualifying exam and their performance in counselling.
Selected applicants in the interview will be informed about the reporting date on the day of counseling. Admission formalities of submitting all available original documents and fees for the first year must be completed by the applicant on or before the reporting date. Otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
