The MIT-WPU BTech course admissions for 2023 have started on the official website of MIT-WPU. The university has started the application process for all its UG and PG courses. As per the latest schedule updated on the official website of MIT-WPU, candidates can apply for MIT-WPU ­BTech course by June 10, 2023. While for Integrated BTech and BTech (LE) courses, candidates can apply till Jul 3 and Jul 11, respectively.

At the UG level, candidates can pursue a four-year BTech course across 15 popular specialisations. The university also offers direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. The university offers scholarships to the best qualifiers of JEE Main or MHT CET as a waiver on fees. Further, during the commencement of the course, students get an opportunity to pursue a six-month mandatory internship to implement practical learning. The highest stipend during the internship programme is offered of INR 60,000. During the placements of MIT-WPU, Pune the overall the highest package was recorded at INR 44.14 lakh. In order to get admission to MIT-WPU, Pune BTech course, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50-60% aggregate in the PCM group. Admission to this course is completely entrance-based. Aspirants are required to appear in either JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET entrance exams. Admission to BTech at MIT-WPU, Pune is purely based on a valid score of candidates in the respective entrance exams and their past academic scores. Further, shortlisted candidates also have to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) of minimum 500 words.

However, those who seek admission to BTech Bioengineering course, must have passed Class 12 in Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Biotechnology as optional subjects. The candidates for this course are selected based on NEET UG scores.
