MBA in Marketing - Batch of 2021

World class infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed in our course during my academic session. The highest package offered in our course was 42 LPA. The average package was around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visited our college were Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were extremely good. It like international institutions. Wi-Fi was available on the campus. Central library was present with lots of reference books. Hostel was also good, all essential facilities were available.
Faculty: Teaching staff and non-teaching staff were helpful. Faculty members were qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced in their respective domains. Course curriculum was relevant. Students were confident to face interview because of their well-trained. Semester examination was at a moderate level.

Review of MIT-WPU.
Placements: Students have to find jobs by themselves. The college doesn't provide placements. Many students are working at KEM Mumbai, B.J. Medical Pune, Hindu Delhi, and AIIMS, primarily through their efforts. Some have taken internships or transfers, such as at Vidyapeeth Medical College, Sangli. Internships are ongoing, but interns are not offered stipends.
Infrastructure: The course is well designed based on industry requirements. Faculty members are good. Hostel facilities are not available; however, there are many options for renting flats or PG accommodations within 5 km of the college. A 1 BHK flat costs around Rs. 10000 per month (deposit about Rs. 30000), and PGs start at Rs. 5000 per month.
Faculty: The exam structure is based on the University of Pune curriculum. 75% of college attendance is mandatory. The course curriculum is a bit outdated but professors bring lots of new topics for discussion. Pedagogy is also a bit outdated considering the fact that lots of other MBA institutes have innovative styles of teaching. Some of the courses are offered on specific campuses hence creating a lot of convenience for students to travel to different campuses.

My honest review about my college.
Placements: There were lots of opportunities for jobs and placements in college if performance was good. Currently, I am a student but in college many companies come like Accenture, Infosys, Tata, etc. School of open learning itself provided internships with Rs 10,000 stipend. You could join any firm to do an internship and do a project which results you have to submit to the college through specified portals.
Infrastructure: Hostels were good and food was good. Students even live in PG and atmosphere was good and per person rent could be around Rs 4,000/-. For the student of commerce, this management course was the best of the available options. No information about faculty-student available. Faculty members were well qualified, and teaching method was very student-friendly. Exams were held timely and if you did 2 hour study it was easy to pass.
Faculty: Course curriculum was interesting but the trimester pattern should had been a semester pattern. The time for course teaching was very less as compared to the number of exams to be passed. The examination process was good. Faculty members were knowledgeable, and the external guest lecturers were too. The experts were from various industries as well as profiles. They were all fluent in English language and all were available for any interaction required.

1) Best Placement 2) Best Campus/Infrastructure 3) Best Faculty/People
Placements: I am happy with the placement. I did two internships at Bisleri and Dabur. The T&P cell helped me to get these two internships. Later, I was placed in Weikfield Foods as a Human Resource Management Trainee. The college has 100% placement, and if you have skills, you can get good opportunities. The top 20% of students got a 9.7 LPA package, and the highest is 17 LPA. Everyone in college gets an internship in the first year; later, most of the time, that company gives you a job. I would like to mention that alumni are very helpful, giving us referrals and helping us to get placed.
Infrastructure: The college campus, infrastructure, and location are good with Arai Hills in the background and quite close to the hustling side of the city. The university has modern facilities in the classroom. Our desks are well-furnished, and we get a charging point at every desk for laptop usage. The college library service is good; we get a mail and SMS reminder to renew or return the book. The hostel here is bad, and finding a good PG takes a lot of time, so no option is left; I choose the hostel. It is very expensive. The accommodation is good, but I feel the food taste is bad. The college canteen is big, and the capacity is good. The college is lacking in sports. A major problem is parking space.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Apart from the daily syllabus, they teach us activities that are actually helpful, like communication. Teaching is also good; they crack jokes in between lectures. The final exam is only for 40 marks. There are 7 questions; if you solve 2 questions correctly, you get passed, but internals carry more weightage. 60 marks are for presentations, assignments, and group project presentations, so it is very easy to pass, but getting top grades is hard.

Review of MBA international business (MIT WPU).
Placements: Placement is done in stages in first-year summer internship program. Many big companies offer internship with some salary. The period is around 2 months. This internship skills and exposure add edge in interviews and in second year, actual placement started big companies Amazon, Flipkart, E-Kart, Yazaki, Molex, Tyko, Altair, etc. Hiring companies due to recession affects placement but still, college manage to get 100 percent placement. The average package was 6 LPA. Some students were not willing to accept offer but college forces them to accept it .
Infrastructure: The MIT campus is world-class; its building style is similar to western monuments. The parking area is very small, and there is a huge traffic jam when entering college. One thing is that there are junk food stalls outside. Many students are addicted to junk food because of that hostel food waste in large quantities. General facilities like internet connectivity, labs, and a good classroom and library (3 nos.) are all the best. The hostel is 20 km away from campus; what the point, its facilities are bad and overly costly. Hostel food is not very good but decent. There are many canteens, and the service and taste of the food are good. As a medical facility, we have medical kits everywhere.
Faculty: Some teachers are good but some are arrogant. Many teachers have side businesses they are busy with, so we had very little interaction during lectures. The course is international business; it has a scope curriculum with 5 chapters per subject. And for the first year, all MBA syllabuses are the same; later, it changes based on specialisation. Semester exams are not very hard but clearing all subjects is tough.
