The institute offers different specializations and has a good campus with excellent facilities for a well-rounded learning experience. NIFT Kannur Cutoff 2024 Round 3 was released for different M.Des, MFM and B.Des courses. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 206 and 2229. The most competitive course was Master of Design (M.Des), with closing cutoff of 206. The easiest to get into for the General AI category candidates was B.Des I Textile Designing.

Both NIFT Kannur and Bhopal are well-regarded institutions for B.Des, but they might have slight differences:
NIFT Kannur and Bhopal offer a strong B.Des foundation, but specializations can differ. Kannur might be stronger in textiles .For broader design exposure (Fashion, Communication etc.), Bhopal could be a good option.
Ultimately, both institutions offer a strong B.Des curriculum with industry exposure and placements. Choose based on your priorities.

NIFT is providing good placements, in the past they have also provided good placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. Gucci and D&G were the top recruiting companies. Almost 90% of students got internships from B.Des in Gucci.
