National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute established in 2008. It offers B.Des under four specializations they are-:

B.Des. (Fashion Design)

B.Des. (Textile Design)

B.Des. (Knitwear Design)

B.Des. (Fashion Communication)

The Basic Eligibility Criteria - 12th Pass. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination of any recognised board or he/she must have secured a passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

And basic Admission Criteria is the NIFT Entrance test.

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Kannur was established in 2008. It is ranked 9th amongst the 16 NIRF institutes across India. BDes programme is offered under four specialisations by NIFT Kannur.
