The documents required for applying to the BTech course at NIT Silchar are intended to verify academic qualifications and identity, while the remaining documents are for formality purposes to secure a seat. The names of some of the necessary documents during admission or after admission:
- Email Address and Phone Number
- Class 10 & 12 marksheet

NIT Silchar 2025 cutoff has been released for admission to M.Tech courses. M.Tech CSE cutoff 2025 ranged from 602 to 526 for students belonging to the General AI category quota, according to the first and last round cutoff results. In 2024 and 2023, admissions to M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering were closed at 448 and 386, respectively. Analysing the trend over the last three years suggests that the competition for this course is increasing year by year. Please note that this applies to the General AI category candidates; other categories might show different trends.

NIT Silchar CCMT cutoff 2025 for various rounds has been released for different categories of students. If you belong to the General AI category, the cutoff for all specialisations and rounds ranged from 360 to 526, wherein M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive. For the OBC AI and SC AI category candidates, the last round cutoff ranged from 317 to 486, and 231 to 328, wherein M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering were the toughest specialisations to crack, respectively. NIT Silchar 2025 cutoff for MSc has been released for admissions to various categories. For the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from 1111 to 1679, wherein M.Sc. in Mathematics was the most popular and therefore, the most competitive. For the OBC AI category, the MSc cutoff 2025 ranged from 1251 to 3775, wherein the same course was also the most competitive. However, please note that different categories will have different cutoffs accordingly.

MTech CSE cutoff 2025 was released for the year 2025, wherein the range was from 526 to 602, according to the last and first round cutoff for the General AI category. Please note that different categories will have different cutoffs accordingly; for example, the OBC AI category, the NIT Sikkim M.Tech cutoff 2025 ranged from 555 to 486. For the SC and ST AI quota, admissions were closed at 403 and 278, respectively. M.Tech admissions are based on GATE score, followed by the CCMT counselling process for NIT Silchar 2025.

NIT Sikkim GATE cutoff 2025 has been released for admissions to various M.Tech courses. The GATE 2025 cutoff ranged from 359 to 526 for the General AI category candidates, wherein M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive, followed by M.Tech in Data Science & Engineering, with a cutoff score of 526 and 499, respectively. Therefore, for admission to NIT Sikkim 2025, students would need to secure at least 359 or higher to secure a seat. Please note that this cutoff is only applicable for the General AI category; other categories will have different qualifying scores accordingly.

National Institute of Technology Silchar application process begins with an online application. Interested students must fill out the online application for the respective courses on the official website of NIT Silchar. Follow the steps given below to apply to NIT Silchar:
Step 1: Admissions to the first semester of all UG programmes are made based on the seats allocated by the JoSAA from the list of candidates selected by all India JEE (Main). Hence, apply for the entrance exam first.
Step 2: Then appear for the entrance exam.
