If you read it seriously because many time NTA give that questions whuch are based on only one line of ncrte. I hope you understand that how to study ncrte. This is very important to make self notes and questions from ncrte important lines.

Yes, it is a part of the syllabus for the exam for which you are preparing. Well, you could cover your 11th and 12 class portions because that is what is mostly covered for the exam that you are preparing for. Along with it, you can refer to the previous year's papers and question banks that might help you know what to expect for the exam.

I had similar kind of questions when I was in your class. Class 11th is way much important than we think, you'll need every sentence you've read in class 11th later
You should stick with NCERT books and keep solving exercise, intext and additional exercise questions too. You'll find same exact questions in previous year papers. You may download it online.
