The NEET MDS admit card is valid for one year. Since NEET MDS exam is conducted once a year, the admit card is also valid for one year. Candidates must preserve the admit card or hall ticket carefully till the admission process is over. Since the admit card is one of the documents for counselling rounds or the document verification process,

To download the NEET MDS admit card, registered and eligible candidates had to enter the following details after visiting the NEET MDS website:

  • NEET MDS application number
  • NEET MDS password
  • Captcha or Security Code

In case candidates have forgotten their NEET MDS password, or are unable to login, should click on the Forgot User ID/Password to retrieve the password.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body has laid down the list of photo identity cards, that will be accepted by the exam centre officials are given below:

  • PAN Card
  • Driving License
  • Voter ID Card
  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card (with Photograph)

Candidates must carry the original photo identity card to the centre and not show the photocopy or the digital copy on the mobile phone.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the NEET MDS 2025 admit card four days before the exam date. The NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted on April 19, 2025, accordingly, the admit card was released on April 15, 2025. NBEMS does not release any official notice or convey it through SMS or email. Candidates have to login to the official website of the exam and login with their registration credentials to download the admit card or the hall ticket. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) will release the NEET MDS admit card tentatively a week ahead of the exam date. After downloading it, if a candidate finds out that there is an error or misprint of information on the admit card or hall ticket, he or she must contact NBEMS in its helpline number or email id and get it corrected at the earliest. There are as many as 17 topics or subjects covered under the NEET MDS syllabus. The question paper is divided into two parts. The Part A consists of seven subjects and Part B consists of 10 subjects. There are 14 questions in each subject, barring two subjects, General Medicine and General Surgery, which carry 15 questions.

The syllabus of NEET MDS exam is the same as what students have studied for their BDS course. There are a total of 17 subjects which are covered under the NEET MDS syllabus. According to NBE, the NEET MDS syllabus is as per the latest Regulations for BDS courses notified by the Dental Council of India with prior approval of the Government of India. It is expected that the NEET MDS syllabus will remain the same compared to last year.

Being a computer-based exam, candidates are given the option to mark one or more answer options for review. According to NBE, candidates are given an option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review which means that candidate has been given an option to go through these questions again before the examination time ends. However, candidates must submit the answer as without that, the question will be considered unattempted.

There are a total of 17 subjects or topics from which questions are asked in the NEET MDS exam. Each of the subject carries 14 to 15 questions. While all subjects carry 14 questions, there are two subjects, General Medicine and General Surgery, which carry 15 questions each. Candidates will not be provided any choice in terms of attempting the subjects or sections. Moreover, there is no time limit to attempt the subjects. Hence, candidates will have to divide the time accordingly in order to solve as many questions as possible within the three hours total duration.

Yes, the pattern of NEET MDS clearly states that penalty marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Each correct answer will fetch four marks and for each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one mark. Hence, the negative marking applied in the NEET MDS exam is 25 per cent. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.
