It is anticipated that the NEET MDS 2025 registration deadline will fall during the fourth week of February 2025. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) might decide not to extend the application deadline based on historical trends. March 2025 is the estimated deadline for submitting the NEET UG 2025 application. Window for correction: Candidates have three to four days after the registration window ends to make corrections to their applications, according to the NTA. It is anticipated that the NEET MDS 2025 exam format will not change from the previous year. There will be 240 multiple-choice, objective-type questions (MCQs) on the three-hour computer-based test (CBT).

The NEET MDS test consists of questions covering a total of 17 courses or topics. There are 14 to 15 questions in each topic. There are two subjects, General Medicine and General Surgery, which each have 15 questions, whereas all other courses only have 14. In the NEET MDS entrance exam, the two chapters or topics with the highest weight—roughly 15 points each—are Oral Microbiology and Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine and Radiology. Applicants should be aware that this is based on analysis from prior years. 

On January 30, 2024, the procedure got underway. Applications were due by 11:55 p.m. on February 19, 2024. On April 21, 2024, NBE announced the NEET MDS 2024 Merit List for All India Quota 50% category seats. Candidates received individual scorecards on April 30, 2024. The MEET MDS 2024 counseling process is open to qualified applicants whose names appear on the merit list. Rather than being released on March 13, 2024, the NEET MDS 2024 admit card was released on March 15, 2024. The internship will now terminate on June 30, 2024, instead of March 31, 2024, as announced by NBE. As a result, the application period for NEET MDS 2024 was extended from March 9, 2024, to March 11, 2024.

The NBE administers the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Masters of dentistry Surgery, or NEET MDS, as an entrance exam for admission to all postgraduate dentistry programmes provided by the Indian institutions. Every year, an online eligibility and ranking test known as the NEET MDS is administered for this purpose. The majority of dental schools in the US accept these scores. 6,501 Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats are available through the test under the following three categories: 50% state quota, 50% All India Quota (AIQ), and 100% seats at deemed/central institutions and private colleges. After the declaration of the NEET MDS result, the counselling process will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
